NEW IBERIA ''' Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Clince Joseph Waguespack, Jr., age 81, at 3:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. John Ward officiating. Inurnment will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum privately at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am on Thursday until service time at Evangeline Funeral Home in New Iberia.

A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Waguespack passed away at 12:54 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Iberia...

A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Waguespack passed away at 12:54 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Iberia Medical Center.

Mr. Waguespack was a 1953 graduate of NISH; served his country in the US Army from 1953-1955; and a longtime employee of Texas Eastern Gas Pipeline. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delcambre; served as Iberia Parish Voting Commissioner; served as Commissioner of the Twin Parish Ports Commission for nine years and as President for the past two; actively involved with Delcambre Shrimp Festival Association for 20 years and volunteered his time at Delcambre Youth Baseball. Mr. Clince most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Norma Landry and husband Connie Landry, Jr. of Delcambre; three grandsons, Quinn Delcambre and wife Amy of New Iberia; Jad Landry and Fiance' Macie Hebert of Kingwood, TX and Miles Landry of Baton Rouge; one granddaughter, Jaci Evans Comeaux and husband Harley of New Iberia; one great granddaughter, Presley Delcambre of New Iberia and one great grandson due in July, Mavrik Delcambre and one sister, Lois Chastant of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Dautreuil Waguespack; daughter, Sherry Waguespack; parents, Clince Camille Waguespack, Sr. and Noelie Comeaux Waguespack.
