COTEAU - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Nancy Boudreaux Viator at 10:00 am Monday, June 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Fr. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant. Immediately following the mass, Nancy will be laid to rest with her husband in the church mausoleum.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with the Rosary being prayed at 6:30 pm. Visiting hours will resume on Monday from 8:00 am until 9:30 am.

Nancy was born July 30, 1949 in St. Martinville to the late Leed J. Boudreaux and the late Felie Landry Boudreaux and passed away peacefully Friday, June 16, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy worked as a medical assistant at the Urology Clinic with Dr.'s Roy, Lamperez and Guinn, a career that would span four decades. Some of Nancy's pastimes included going to the theater, craft shows and traveling. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and was also an active and faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Her faith in God led her to a life of giving and placing all others above herself, especially her sister Ronnie who recently passed away. Through her many years as a widow, her love for her husband only grew and she looked forward to the reunion with her family in heaven. Rest in Peace dear Nancy. We love you.

Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Viator Sanchez and husband Ricky J. Sanchez, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Viator of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Anna Belle Sanchez, Raymond "Manny" Sanchez, Ricky "RJ" Sanchez, III; great grandchildren, Lily Viator and Tatum Viator; her brother, Paul Allen Boudreaux, Sr. and wife Mary of Cade;; Brother-in-law, Joseph Viator ; sisters-in-law, Kim Viator Broussard and husband Corwin, Joann Sidwell and husband Norman and Jan Viator of Coteau; her great niece, McKenzie Buford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Terry Patrick Viator, Sr.; her son, Terry "Pat" Viator, Jr.; sister, Ronnie B. Buford and husband Clyde; in-laws, Dophie and Lillian Viator; brother-in-law, Reggie Viator; sister-in-law, Sally Viator; Godsons, Clyde "Buddy" Buford and Heath P. Buford; niece, Wendy Trahan Primeaux; and great nephew, Ricky Louviere, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Sanchez, Jr., Raymond "Manny" Sanchez, Donald Comeaux, Kris Viator, Ryan Dore, and Paul "Butch" Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers are Corwin Broussard, Ricky "RJ" Sanchez, III, Tatum Viator, Ricky Sanchez, Sr. and Norman Sidwell.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to nancy's niece, Stephanie Buford Comeaux, for her continued guidance, care and love of our dear Nancy. They would also like to thank the many family and friends for helping during this difficult time.
